Introduction

Welcome to the SurvivalZ Rules Section!

In the untamed lands of Chernarus, where every dawn could be your last, we strive to provide a thrilling and competitive PvP/PvE experience while maintaining a fair and respectful gaming environment. The rules laid out in this section are crafted to ensure that all players can enjoy the game to its fullest, without any unfair advantages or disruptive behavior.

Whether you’re a lone wolf scavenger, a member of a marauding squad, or a strategist fortifying your stronghold, these guidelines are designed to keep the gameplay balanced, the combat honorable, and the community vibrant. Remember, your actions have consequences, and your reputation is your legacy.

So gear up, strategize carefully, and prepare to test your survival skills against others. Good luck out there — may your aim be true, your loot plentiful, and your adventures legendary.

Please read the following rules carefully; understanding and adhering to them will ensure that everyone has a fair and enjoyable experience on our server.

Combat Rules

  • Do not engage in combat logging (disconnecting during a fight to avoid death).
  • No spawn camping. Allow players to move away from spawn points before engaging.
  • KoS is allowed but discouraged without interaction; try to engage in some roleplay or communication first.
  • Taking hostages is allowed, but ensure a good roleplay experience for both parties.
  • Do not torture or kill hostages immediately; negotiate terms for release.

Base Building Rules

  • Bases cannot be built inside or blocking entrances to military areas or police buildings.
  • Keep a reasonable distance from main roads and towns to avoid disrupting general gameplay.
  • Limit bases to a realistic size for your group – no mega-structures without a justifiable player count.
  • Structures must be fully supported and plausible; no floating or physics-defying builds.
  • Raiding is allowed; however, avoid excessive destruction. Only break what is necessary to enter and access loot.
  • Do not despawn or waste raided items – take what you need, leave the rest.

Military and Police Areas Rules
  • Military and police buildings are high-value targets and do not have increased protection. Expect and prepare for PvP engagements.
  • Do not camp inside buildings; loot and move on to keep the flow of gameplay active.
  • Temporary control of areas is allowed but must not exceed 4 hours. Allow other players opportunities to loot.
  • Do not build or place structures to block access to these buildings.
General Server Conduct
  • No hate speech, discrimination, or harassment of any kind.
  • Respect all players and admins; toxicity has no place here.
  • Zero tolerance for hacking, exploiting, or using glitches for an advantage.
  • Keep disputes off the global chat. Use private messages or report issues to admins.

  • Do not bring outside drama into the game.

Raiding Rules

When to Raid:

  • Raiding is only permitted during designated times to ensure all players can prepare and participate fairly.
  • Raiding Schedule:
    • Friday: Begin your sieges at 18:00 and wrap up by 23:59.
    • Saturday: Raiding is allowed for the entire day, starting just past midnight at 00:01 until 23:59.
    • Sunday: Similar to Saturday, you can raid from 00:01 right through until 23:59.
  • Note that all mentioned times are in the Swedish Timezone (Central European Time, CET).

What You Can Raid:

  • Focus your raiding efforts on doors and gates. These are your entry points to breach and access a base.
  • Remember, the objective is to get in, loot, and get out. Destruction beyond what is necessary to enter a base is discouraged.

How to Conduct a Raid:

  • Fair Play: Even during raid hours, respect your fellow survivors. Raid with honor and sportsmanship.
  • No Excessive Damage: While you may destroy doors and gates to gain entry, avoid unnecessary destruction of the rest of the base.
  • Preserve the Base’s Integrity: After a raid, the base should still be recognizable and repairable. Don’t strip it down to nothing.
  • Leave What You Don’t Need: Take only the loot you need. Wasting resources by throwing them on the ground or despawning them is unsportsmanlike.
  • Offline Raiding: While not explicitly forbidden, raiding a base when its owners are offline is frowned upon. Aim to engage in raids when there is a possibility of defense for a more dynamic and exciting encounter.

Post-Raid Etiquette:

  • After a successful raid, take a moment to ensure the base is left secure from zombies by closing any doors you opened or replaced.
  • If you’ve taken over a base, consider leaving a sign or marker indicating the new ownership.

Conclusion

Remember, these rules are guidelines to promote fair play and sportsmanship within the server. They can be adapted as needed to fit the culture and expectations of your specific server community. It’s also important to have a clear process for reporting rule violations and a consistent approach to enforcing these rules.
